Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Noga in Nature?
🌿

A: Noga in Nature is a slow, grounding experience that blends gentle fascia-focused movement, breathwork, mindfulness, walking, and nature connection — all designed to calm your nervous system, restore your energy, and reconnect you to joy and community. It’s called Noga because it’s not your typical yoga — no mats, no Down Dogs, no complex poses, no indoor studio. Just real people, real nature, and a beautiful return to what matters.

Q: Do I need to be fit, flexible or experienced in yoga?

A: Not at all. This isn’t about performance or poses. It’s about how you feel. Everything is offered as an invitation. You move in a way that feels good for you — even if that’s simply standing and breathing.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A:
Nothing fancy. Just wear comfy clothes and walking shoes, and bring a water bottle, maybe a hat or sunscreen depending on the weather. You don’t need a yoga mat — we’ll be upright and gently moving the whole time.

Q: How long do sessions run?
A:
Up to 2 hours, including time to arrive, settle, breathe, move, and connect — without rushing.

Q: What if I’m scared of bugs, snakes or being in nature?
A:
You’re not alone. Many people have hesitations about being in the bush — but part of the magic of Noga is gently rebuilding a sense of safety and trust in nature. We move mindfully, stick to open trails, and respect the land. I’m also a registered first aider and choose safe, accessible spots. If you’re nervous, let me know — I’ll support you to ease in.

Q: I feel shy around groups — what’s the vibe like?
A:
There’s no pressure to talk, perform, or share anything personal. The group energy is relaxed, kind, and welcoming. Most people leave feeling surprisingly connected — not just to nature, but to others and to themselves.

Q: What if I can’t make it?
A:
If something comes up, I’m happy to offer a transfer or a makeup session. Just let me know as soon as you can.

Q: Where do we meet?
A:
You’ll receive a text with the location and details after booking. Most sessions are held in the Middleton Grange / Western Sydney parkland area.

🌿 NATURE BASED COACHING (plus Phone or Zoom options)

Q:
What is nature-based coaching?
A:
It’s a heart-centred, body-aware coaching session held outdoors, where we walk and talk at a relaxed pace through peaceful natural areas. Being in nature helps you settle, gain clarity, and access deeper wisdom — especially when life feels loud or overwhelming. We might pause for stillness, explore what’s coming up in your body, or use simple somatic tools to shift old patterns and reconnect to your true path. Each session is guided by what you bring on the day.

Q: What are the benefits of doing coaching in nature?
A:
Nature softens us. It makes it easier to let your guard down, hear your own truth, and move through stuckness. You’ll feel more grounded, spacious, and clear — often in ways that talking alone can’t provide.

Q: What is co-regulation and how does it help?
A:
Co-regulation is the nervous system’s natural way of settling in the presence of another calm, attuned human being. When we walk and breathe together in nature, your system begins to downshift out of stress and into safety. This relaxed state is where insights land, emotions untangle, and real change begins.

Q: Can I do sessions by phone or Zoom?
A:
Yes. If you prefer, I offer sessions by phone or Zoom — slightly shorter in duration, but still powerful. These are a good option if you’re time-limited, live outside Sydney, or simply feel more comfortable from home.

Q: Do you offer single sessions?
A:
Coaching is most effective as a process, not a quick fix. I work with people in 5- or 8-session series to allow space for real change and integration. If you're curious but not ready to commit, you're welcome to come to a Noga in Nature group session or book a free 15-minute clarity call to see if this feels like the right path for you.

Q: How long are the sessions and what are the prices?
A:
– Nature-based sessions: approx. 75–90 minutes – Phone/Zoom sessions: approx. 45–60 minutes (Please contact me for current rates)
